Two Fun Runs for Kids will kick off our 1st Annual Health Expo, in partnership with Northwell Health. Entry is free, but every child participating needs a ticket and there are separate tickets for 3-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds. Each runner will get a medal, water, goody bag and a snack after the race(s). Please register your child(ren) for the Fun Run below!


Admission is Free (No Ticket Required) to the Health Expo, 10 am-2pm, which will feature:

  • Education Sessions in the Barn: Diabetes Awareness (10am, 12pm): Information about diabetes and diabetes prevention, diabetes-friendly recipes, and samples from Northwell Health experts and clinicians; Nutrition and Healthy Eating for Kids and Families (11 am, 1 pm): Learn how to incorporate healthy food options into your family's diet by Northwell Health registered dietitians and nutritionists with samples and recipes 
  • Free giveaways all day!
  • Education Stations: Composting at Home, Worm Bin + Certified Monarch Butterfly Waystation, Growing your own vegetable garden, Women's Health and Children's Mental Health information from Northwell Health experts, and our Upcoming Programs + Camps
  • Ongoing DJ Dance parties, scavenger hunts, yoga and meditation, physical therapy and stretching tips, dried herbs and tea sampling in our Edible Teaching Garden, kid-friendly tattoos, Colonial Farmhouse tours every half hour, food trucks with delicious and diverse food options, craft and vendor stations selling artisan wares, and kids craft stations.

Queens Farm is smoke-free. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
Do not pick produce, or flowers, walk into growing fields or climb trees.
For the health of our livestock, please do not feed animals anything except food for sale on site.
Pets are not allowed, for the safety of the farm animals and visitors. Service animals are permitted as described by the ADA.
Queens Farm is home to a variety of livestock including hens, steer, alpacas, sheep, goats and pigs, who live in designated coops and paddocks on the farm. Guests are required to remain outside of fenced areas at all times during their visit.
Our 47 acres of grounds contain wooded areas, which are home to local wildlife. Do not feed or approach any animals you may encounter in their natural habitat.
Strollers, backpacks, and bottled water are permitted on the grounds. No designated storage for strollers, bags, or coats.
For the safety of our staff and visitors, there is no bicycling, rollerblading or electric scootering is allowed on-site. Bicycle racks are available on-site.
Casual visitor photography is permitted, however staged photos, photo shoots and commercial photography requires a farm issued permit and payment of applicable fees.
