Bring your troop for an unforgettable overnight experience at the Queens County Farm Museum! Scouts will engage in a hands-on badge program of their choice, explore the farm after dark on a guided night tour, complete with a special visit to meet the animals under the evening sky. Afterward, everyone can enjoy delicious s’mores before settling in for a night of discovery and fun.
WHEN: Friday or Saturday evenings from 6:00pm until 8:00am the following morning.
WHERE: Queens County Farm Museum, 73-50 Littleneck Parkway, Floral Park, NY 11004. Held in one of our large indoor classrooms.
TICKETS: $895 base fee for up to 15 Scouts and 2 Troop Leaders. $50 per additional Scout. $20 per additional Leader. Age-appropriate Tag-Alongs are welcome and are considered Scouts. Tag-Alongs must be able to participate in all aspects of the program and keep with the pace of the activities.
Maximum of 25 Scouts/Tag-Alongs and 5 Troop Leaders. We require two Troop Leaders at every Overnight at the Farm Museum. Scouts and Troop Leaders from different Troops are acceptable.
Overnight experiences at the farm are not open to the general public.
Troops can choose from a variety of different topics and badge programs, tailored to spark curiosity and hands-on learning. Popular options include:
An optional movie night add-on lets Scouts wind down with a family-friendly film before lights out.
Wake up to a continental breakfast in the morning, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the farm as it comes to life for the day. This overnight adventure helps Scouts build practical skills, connect science and nature, and develop a lifelong appreciation for sustainability.
